At present, there is no need to hold an extraordinary session of the Parliament. Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak stressed this on Monday in Ottawa, answering journalists’ questions in regard to the respective initiative of opposition factions.
Volodymyr Rybak reminded that the Verkhovna Rada has recently convened for an extraordinary session. However, no issue was considered or adopted. “I have no idea what is it planned to scrutinize now,” he noted. “There is no necessity to convene extraordinary session today,” he added. Thereat, the Chairman noted that under the plan calendar, another plenary week is scheduled for December 3.
